Every marriage proposal waits on an answer. A marriage proposal is a question that must be answered. The bride with her own free will must say “Yes” or “No.” Someone has chosen you, but you still have a choice to make.
God the groom has chosen you, but you must make a choice. The bride has to say yes or no. But there is more for the bride to do after saying yes. The bride must continue to say yes. After making that initial choice she needs to continue to make that choice every day.
For too many, the wedding covenant has become a one time decision. The same could be said for our relationship with God. We must choose again, today, to love the groom.
Part of this daily choice is to prepare our self. Jesus will return for a prepared bride..
